Whenever we have roles available, we’ll post the details here. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.

If you’re looking to work directly with young people in music-making projects, take a look at the jobs page over on our Youth Music Network.

Before applying for any of our vacancies please note that, in keeping with Home Office requirements, Youth Music is unable to offer any sponsorships for our roles. All candidates invited to interview will need to have the right to work in the UK. You can find more information on the gov.uk website.

Admin Assistant (full-time)

We’re seeking an Administration Assistant to work alongside the Office Manager to provide Grants, Office and Finance admin support across the organisation to ensure the smooth running of Youth Music’s operations.

The successful candidate will be a proactive individual, able to look ahead and plan for what’s coming up. You’ll also have strong IT and communication skills, experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines, with an eye for detail and an interest to work in the charity sector. You must have at least one year’s continuous experience working in a similar role.

Database Assistant (part-time)

This is an exciting new role, designed to support the organisation through administration of our grants database.

The Database Assistant will maintain Symplectic Grant Tracker, a key organisational database, ensuring all data is accurate and meaningful. This database holds the application portal for organisations and is how the Grants & Learning Team manage and support funded partners with their grants. You will undertake regular database administration tasks, such as adding new users, updating forms, importing data and amending the database where required by the team.

Marketing & Communications Officer (full or part-time)

As a Marketing and Communications Officer, you'll leverage your creativity and proficiency in copywriting and editing across a variety of digital platforms.

Your mission will be to enhance our brand's digital presence and convey our social purpose, with a focus on our brand-new website and multiple newsletters. With a keen eye for detail, you'll also create high-quality insight reports that demonstrate our impact and identify areas for improvement.

Impact

Every Youth Music project measures its impact, helping us build a unique national overview. We're an outcomes-based funder, which means that we ask organisations to tell us what changes they expect their project to bring about.
